Overview We are actively hiring an Assistant Superintendent to support multifamily and hotel-style construction projects in the Indianapolis area. This role works closely with the Superintendent to coordinate subcontractors, manage jobsite logistics, maintain project documentation, and help keep projects on schedule.

This is a great opportunity for someone with multifamily construction experience who is looking to grow into a Superintendent role. Candidates must be bilingual (English/Spanish) and comfortable working in a fast-paced construction environment.

Key Responsibilities

Assist the Superintendent in managing day-to-day construction operations on multifamily and hospitality-style projects

Coordinate subcontractor schedules and help ensure work is completed according to project timelines

Maintain daily reports, site logs, and project documentation

Assist with scheduling inspections, material deliveries, and subcontractor coordination

Conduct jobsite walkthroughs to monitor work progress and quality

Communicate with subcontractors, project managers, and field teams to ensure smooth operations

Support jobsite safety expectations and maintain a clean and organized work environment

Track labor activity, material deliveries, and job progress

Qualifications

Bilingual in English and Spanish (required)

Experience working on multifamily, apartment, or hotel construction projects

Ability and willingness to travel for projects as needed

Strong organizational and administrative skills

Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced construction environment

Strong communication skills with subcontractors and field teams

Preferred Experience

Experience supporting a Superintendent or Project Manager

Experience with multifamily construction, apartment construction, or hospitality construction

Familiarity with construction documentation, scheduling, and jobsite coordination

Active construction sites with frequent interaction with multiple trades

Regular jobsite walkthroughs and coordination with subcontractors

Travel required depending on project location

Pay and Schedule

40–50 hours per week

Full-time position with opportunity for growth into a Superintendent role
