Overview The In‑Room Server is responsible for delivering exceptional in‑room dining experiences by providing prompt, courteous, and accurate service to hotel guests. This role requires a blend of hospitality, efficiency, and attention to detail in a fast‑paced environment.
Key Responsibilities Deliver food and beverage orders to guest rooms with professionalism, accuracy, and a warm, welcoming demeanor.
Set up in‑room dining presentations according to hotel standards, ensuring all items are properly arranged and complete.
Communicate menu items, specials, and service details clearly and confidently to guests.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of room service areas, trays, carts, and equipment.
Retrieve trays and carts from guest rooms and hallways in a timely manner.
Process guest orders through the POS system with accuracy and efficiency.
Coordinate with kitchen and service teams to ensure timely delivery and resolve any guest concerns.
Uphold all safety, sanitation, and food‑handling standards.
Support additional food and beverage operations as needed.
Qualifications The In‑Room Server is responsible for delivering exceptional in‑room dining experiences by providing prompt, courteous, and accurate service to hotel guests. This role requires a blend of hospitality, efficiency, and attention to detail in a fast‑paced environment.
A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast-paced environment.
Refined verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally and warmly with guests and team members.
Strong multi‑tasking ability, including managing multiple orders, timelines, and guest requests simultaneously.
Physical stamina to lift moderate amounts of weight (typically trays, carts, and food items) and walk or stand for extended periods.
Ability to remain calm and courteous under pressure.
Previous hospitality or food‑and‑beverage experience preferred but not required.
