About The Position The Connective Force Picture yourself as the lifeblood that ties everything together—the communicator, the problem-solver, the bridge between operational teams. Position Summary The Intern develops a broad understanding of bank marketing processes while performing duties designed to support the company’s objectives. This position collaborates with the Marketing team to develop content, produce marketing materials, and support communications projects across multiple channels. The Intern learns how branding, messaging, and community engagement contribute to organizational reputation. This position reports to the Marketing & Communications Manager and provides excellent service and support to team members and customers while demonstrating the Company’s values and supporting the mission.
Position Duties And Responsibilities
Collaborate with the Marketing team to develop content to support bank-wide initiatives
Assist content creators and marketing team with creative projects, gaining exposure to professional workflows and collaborative processes
Assist in the creation and production of marketing materials, including brochures, email marketing campaigns, social media content, event collateral, direct mail pieces, and print advertisements
Support marketing and communications projects across multiple channels and platforms
Learn how branding, messaging, and community engagement contribute to organizational reputation
Attend training as requested
Adhere to compliance with all federal bank regulations and laws, including those for consumer protection and the Bank Secrecy Act/Anti-Money Laundering Program
Participate in outside community activities as required
Perform other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
Currently enrolled in a college/university degree program
Experience with design, social media, and/or event coordination preferred
Proficient with Microsoft Office and other standard software applications
Experience with graphic design software, (e.g., Canva) preferred
Ability to build relationships with customers and internal teammates
Basic organization and time management skills
Ability to develop and maintain working knowledge of Bank products, services, policies, procedures, and systems
Maintain a professional demeanor at all times
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Excellent interpersonal skills
Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
High standards for integrity, honesty, professionalism, and work ethic
Commitment to service excellence
