Catering Sales Manager

This is a full-time on-site role for a Catering Sales Manager at The Westin New Orleans located in New Orleans, LA. The Catering Sales Manager will be responsible for generating and managing catering sales, building relationships with clients, and providing exceptional customer service. They will collaborate with the operations and culinary teams to ensure seamless event execution, from identifying client needs to overseeing final event details. The role involves creating proposals, negotiating contracts, preparing event layouts, and effectively managing event budgets and payments. Qualifications

Sales and negotiation skills, with a proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets Event planning and coordination expertise, including the ability to manage budgets and event logistics Strong interpersonal and client relationship-building abilities Proficiency in using software systems for managing bookings, contracts, and event details Outstanding written and verbal communication skills to interact with internal teams and clients Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and professionalism Experience in the hospitality or catering industry is preferred Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field is an asset
