Overview
We are looking for a dynamic
Sales Engineer
to lead sales and operations for the
Reality Capture
segment in
Norway . Working closely with the Industry Lead, you will play a key role in driving revenue growth, expanding market presence, and contribute directly to exceeding ambitious targets.
In this role, you will:
Identify, develop, and manage sales opportunities for
Leica Geosystems
within the Reality Capture segment.
Guide customers through the sales process with professionalism, expertise, and focus on delivering value.
Build and nurture strong strategic relationships with existing and potential customers, as well as industry partners.
Apply consultative sales techniques to understand customer challenges, communicate compelling solutions, and close business successfully.
Duties & Responsibilities The duties and responsibilities of the position include:
Perform sales activities including but not limited to: Sales planning; Sales meetings; Customer demonstrations; Attend exhibitions, trade fairs and events
Perform sales activities for customers within the products within the Reality Capture segment
Develop and maintain strong working relationships with end-users and colleagues
Actively use CRM tools to: Manage sales opportunities; Handle leads across the organization; Keep track of customer-oriented activities; Keep forecast updated; Provide valuable feedback to Sales Manager/ Segment Managers and R&D department
Representing Leica Geosystems/Hexagon in a helpful, professional and courteous manner at all times
Contribute to continuous improvement of processes within the sales team
Compliance with workplace health and safety requirements and directions when working on customer / dealer / end user sites
Adheres to Hexagon values
Additional duties may be assigned from time to time
Qualifications & Experience
Proven experience in a sales role, ideally within construction, surveying, or technology solutions.
Strong customer focus and ability to understand stakeholders’ critical needs.
Excellent communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences.
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build credibility at all levels.
Demonstrated ability to improve processes, drive results, and support team initiatives.
Technical aptitude with the ability to quickly grasp complex solutions.
Highly motivated, results-oriented, and flexible team player with strong work ethic and entrepreneurial drive.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Experience with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce.com) is an advantage
Fluent in English and Norwegian (written and verbal).
Education & Skills
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Surveying, Technology, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Travel Requirements
Approximately 50% traveling required (domestic). Some international travelling is also required
