The Search Engine Marketing Intern will be asked to handle a variety of duties, with the main focus being the management of marketing campaigns for domestic and global brands. Responsibilities include paid search marketing through search engines, paid campaigns and postings through social media, email marketing, search optimization, and market analysis. While not required, experience using marketing tools such as website analytics platforms, and search and social ad manager platforms is preferred. The intern must demonstrate strong organization skills, creativity, detailed tracking and follow‑up to succeed. The role involves supporting the sales team with hosted website sales by providing guidance and recommendations for digital marketing of premium hosted websites. This includes conference calls and visits with sales staff and customers of Sandhills. The analyst will create ads and audiences to meet business objectives, maintain campaigns, measure success, and communicate outcomes to coworkers and management. The specialist will handle social media and/or email marketing, data analysis and report building using Google Analytics, and general market analysis. An ideal candidate will have general marketing experience, specifically in social media and email marketing, and will be fluent in using any or all of the following applications: Google Analytics, Google AdWords, Google Search Console, an email marketing or marketing automation platform, and Facebook Ads Manager. Assume other duties as assigned. This internship is paid at $20 per hour.
