Art Professional II
This position independently performs professional graphic design work, exercising creativity and sound judgment while adhering to organizational standards, state regulations, and program goals. Responsibilities
Manage pre-press production and execute a diverse range of design projects (brochures, annual reports, large-format materials, tradeshow displays, digital assets, infographics, and video content). Design and produce visual communication materials using Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Acrobat, Photoshop) on a Mac workstation within a cross-platform environment. Create a wide range of professional graphic design tasks, with discretion and creativity within standards, programs, and state goals, regulations, and systems. Follow brand guidelines and ensure accessibility; meet WCAG 2.2 criteria for digital work. Make process-level decisions within established guidelines and apply industry standards to complex assignments. Serve as a subject matter resource when needed and collaborate with IDS stakeholders to ensure project success. Deliver tailored design solutions with strong evaluative and aesthetic judgment and provide excellent customer service. Identify process improvements and leverage technology to streamline workflows and production outcomes. Additional Duties
Pre-press Print Production: review client files, resolve printing issues, and coordinate with Production to ensure a smooth process. Graphic Design Services: design and produce visuals in a cross-platform environment, maintain records, and coordinate with clients regarding product, budget, and deadlines while ensuring brand compliance. Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications: Experience Only: At least four (4) years of relevant experience in an occupation related to the work assigned to this position. OR Education and Experience: A combination of related education and/or relevant experience equal to at least four (4) years. Please upload 3 examples of your design work
