Corporate Paralegal, Asset Management
Onsite Schedule:
Hybrid
Compensation:
Mid to Senior-Level $150,000 - $175,000 OT and Bonus Eligible
Practice Areas:
Asset Management
Working Hours:
9:30am – 5:30pm, hour lunch break OT
Responsibilities
Assist staffing and supervises junior paralegals in the Asset Management Department including providing training and feedback.
Assist with private fund formation, including managing the e-sub doc process and maintenance of side letter and investor trackers.
Prepare and file formation documents for various business entities, including qualifications, amendments, dissolutions; interface with corporate service companies to file and retrieve documents from various states.
Draft closing documents, signature packages and prepare audit letters.
Manage post-closing activities: follow up to obtain all post-closing items; prepare and maintain extensive files; ongoing projects within the department.
Interact with outside entities (e.g. clients, corporations, vendors, and other law firms) to gather information or coordinate activities as needed.
Qualifications
Minimum 10 years of experience
College Degree preferred
Paralegal Certificate or attorney attestation required
