Our client is seeking a Marketing Manager to lead growth across a defined regional or segment market. In this highly visible role, you will combine market insight, data analysis, and cross-functional collaboration with sales, operations, and estimating teams to expand market presence, strengthen customer relationships, and drive revenue and margin growth.
This position plays a key role in shaping market strategy, identifying growth opportunities, and improving profitability across key construction markets.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute market strategy for an assigned territory or segment, including positioning, target accounts, and growth initiatives
Identify opportunities to increase revenue and margin across existing and new customers, project types, and product lines
Track competitive activity, pricing trends, and project pipelines to inform strategic decision-making
Partner with sales teams to deepen relationships with contractors, developers, engineers, and distributors
Build and refine segment strategies across markets such as infrastructure, commercial, industrial, and residential construction
Provide input into pricing strategy, product mix, and service offerings based on market insights
Lead market forecasting and planning, supporting annual and quarterly business planning
Monitor performance metrics and identify opportunities to improve results
Collaborate cross-functionally with sales, marketing, operations, and finance teams
Serve as the internal voice of the market, sharing insights on trends, customer feedback, and competitive dynamics
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, Construction Management, Engineering, or related field required
MBA or advanced degree preferred
6–8+ years of experience in market management, commercial strategy, business development, or related roles
Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills with the ability to translate market data into actionable plans
Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams and drive initiatives
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Strong project management and organizational abilities
