Overview Our client is currently seeking a Marketing Manager to help drive brand growth for their Food Product offerings. The primary emphasis will be on retail & social media. The Marketing Manager will work across the organization to build a brand recognition strategy from the ground up. There is not an established marketing department. Instead, the Manager will help build the retail & shopper marketing foundation—shaping strategy, creating tools, and executing programs that influence shoppers & support sales. This position will directly influence retail execution, sales performance, and brand growth.

The Marketing Manager / Brand Manager will create how the brand shows up at retailers & at the point of purchase, helping to shape how a legacy brand competes, stands out, and wins in the modern retail landscape. This candidate needs to reside at their HQ near Lynn MA. Relocation Assistance is provided.

This job will have the following responsibilities:

Help define and articulate our brand and shopper narrative, including who we are, who we’re selling to, and why shoppers choose us

Develop and execute shopper marketing strategies that drive trial, conversion, and repeat purchase

Partner with Sales and key retail customers to support promotions, launches, and merchandising programs

Leverage shopper insights, category data, and promotional performance to inform campaigns and retailer-specific activation

Execute programs across third-party platforms (e.g., Instacart, Ibotta, digital coupons, retail media)

Bring our story to life through in-store, digital, and field marketing experiences

Ensure brand consistency while modernizing how we show up in the aisle and online

Create and manage marketing assets including POS, sell-in decks, promotional materials, digital content, website updates, and trade assets

Capture and elevate stories from retail partners, customers, and internal teams

Support grassroots field marketing, demos, shows, and customer visits

Qualifications & Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or Related Field is Highly Preferred

5+ years of experience in Marketing or Brand Management

Experience within CPG and/or Food Manufacturing is Strongly Preferred

Proven experience supporting retail customers and sales teams

Experience executing campaigns using shopper data, social media, and third-party platforms (e.g., Instacart, Ibotta, retail media)

Experience collaborating with external marketing or advertising agencies is a plus
