Overview
IAM Consultant , Columbus, Ohio Duration: 6+ months. Onsite. Responsibilities
Manages user access rights and account provisioning throughout the full user lifecycle, ensuring timely and accurate onboarding, access updates, and offboarding in alignment with established SLAs. Performs IT compliance support tasks, including conducting security scans, identifying vulnerabilities, and applying required remediation to maintain a secure and compliant environment. Execute operational identity and access management (IAM) functions
to uphold agency security policies, standards, and authorization controls. Supports IT specialists by maintaining and validating metadata, assisting with data loading, executing unit and system test scripts, and providing application maintenance support. Develops, organizes, and maintains platform-specific documentation to ensure continuity, standardization, and accurate operational knowledge across systems. Contributes to enhancements of existing infrastructure, software, or database systems by creating or modifying program modules, writing standard queries, and developing database diagrams. Writes and executes unit and systems testing scripts and verifies test results to ensure software and system changes meet required specifications and produce expected outcomes. Provides technical troubleshooting and customer service support for IT-related issues, promoting timely resolution and effective communication with end users. Supports operational readiness by participating in on-call rotations, performing extended system monitoring, and responding to time-sensitive service requests. Assists in maintaining secure and stable IT environments by staying informed on technology trends, security practices, and agency procedures relevant to assigned work.
