Overview
This is a 100% remote German Regional Field Sales role based in Germany. Fluent German and English are required. You will be out of the office meeting potential restaurant owners and supermarket representatives, developing new business, and introducing customers to new Chinese food flavours and products. You will join a growing specialist food business that sells high-end Chinese foods into the UK, Europe and beyond. The role is autonomous and involves talking to and visiting existing and new customers (supermarkets, restaurants, caterers and retailers), attending food events, and expanding business. Field sales experience and a food distribution background Company
This is a well-established food import/export business that specialises in importing specialist food products from China and supplying supermarkets and restaurant chains. The company has grown rapidly recently due to interest in home-cooking. You will introduce retail clients to new products, build relationships with prospects across Europe and the UK, arrange visits and do new business development. Duties
Sales & business development: Contact potential or existing customers to promote products to supermarkets Arrange visits to existing customers and new potential customers Introduce customers to new tastes and flavours (and recipes) Liaise with the sales order processing team in The Hague who will handle order processing Negotiate sales volumes and new supplier contracts Visit existing customers to ensure satisfaction with products and service Work toward agreed sales targets you will have input into Requirements
Fluent German and English Previous experience in sales Food background is essential Car driver essential
