
Key Account Manager

Summary
Qualified candidates for this position will provide excellent Account Management including contract review, lead time, backlog reporting, scorecard data and measurements.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Provide customer support for delivery status updates
Team Player who builds relationships with internal and external customers
Primary customer contact for order management and expediting
Work with other functions to manage the customer orders, expedite orders, and recover late orders
Manage expectations between customers and TMS on lead times, expedites requests, and product availability
Work with appropriate resources to improve processes
Manage customer portals
Manage customer scorecards
Report to upper management on account on time delivery status, quality score, and customer disposition
Qualifications/Requirements
Positive can-do attitude
Organized and personable
Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to collaborate with customers and coworkers
Promote positive team atmosphere
Familiar with ERP systems – preferably Oracle
Experience working in a manufacturing environment a plus
Minimum 2-year degree or equivalent work experience
Minimum 3 years’ experience in sales and/or customer service
