Do you love building new strategic and data-driven businesses? Join the US AWS Global Sales organization as an AWS Storage Specialist Seller. As an AWS Storage Sales Specialist, you will be at the forefront of driving adoption and revenue growth for AWS storage services. Your role will involve identifying high-value customer opportunities within a specific territory and engaging with AWS customers to understand their storage needs and align them with AWS storage solutions. You will leverage consultative expertise to become a trusted advisor, guiding customers in embedding and deploying AWS storage solutions to unlock new value streams and support high-value workloads. You will own the full-cycle sales engagement plan, from identifying qualified leads to realizing revenue, and craft account plans to achieve customer initiatives. You will forecast, identify and drive opportunities that maximize revenue and hit targets. You will engage IT, Infrastructure executives and Line of Business leaders to build trust and align AWS storage capabilities with customer goals. You will maintain in-depth knowledge of AWS storage services and cross-functional areas to build strong relationships with customers. By driving adoption of advanced storage technologies, you will help propel AWS revenue growth and keep customers ahead in a rapidly evolving tech landscape. You can describe storage use cases and technical solutions at a high level, with detailed implementation provided by solution architects. You will conduct executive conversations on cloud storage and data management, leading to subsequent meetings with the wider team. You will work with customers and AWS account teams to advance qualified sales opportunities for enterprise application workloads and data center migration projects. You will be an integral part of your area specialized sales leadership team, applying globally developed migration and modernization sales plays in a data-driven way. The ideal candidate will possess both business experience to engage at the CxO/VP level and background to credibly interact with IT leaders, software developers, and infrastructure and applications architects. You should be able to think strategically and analytically about business, product, and technical challenges, build and convey compelling value propositions, and work across the business to set vision and objectives. A strong sense of ownership, drive, and willingness to dive deep is essential. Key job responsibilities
Accelerate customer adoption by defining and implementing GTM strategies within assigned accounts and technology domain. Ideate with Line of Business and C-suite leaders, building trust with deep technical expertise, and solving their most compelling business problems. Drive sales efforts spanning multiple lines of business with decision-making authority and budget ownership. Act as the customer front-line Storage domain specialist within your accounts. Partner with customers to run assessments of on-premises and cloud storage environments, lead technical discovery sessions, and position AWS Storage services to support critical workflows. Map technology applications to customer business scenarios to improve operational outcomes using AWS storage services. Develop and deliver compelling ROI and TCO proposals to drive adoption of AWS Storage Solutions. Lead presentations at multi-customer events (in person and virtual) to drive demand for AWS Storage services. Provide strong operational command of your business; dive deep to understand trends across your territory and forecast accurately. Internally evangelize the benefits of our Storage services, programs, and industry-specific solution benefits to scale your business through Core account managers. Engage systems integrators and collaborate with AWS partners to deliver maximum customer value. Gather voice-of-customer insights to inform product roadmaps and enhance the customer experience. Co-develop GTM motions on new product launches and work with product teams on new services. A day in the life

- 5+ years of business development, partner development, sales or alliances management experience - 5+ years of direct sales or business development in software, cloud or SaaS markets selling to C-level executives experience - Experience communicating results to senior leadership, or experience in solving complex business challenges by delivering accurate and timely financial models, analysis, and recommendations that have a proven impact on business (e.g., financial savings, operational improvements, or customer benefits) Preferred Qualifications
