This position is also responsible to obtain Insurance authorization for services and handling of the medical record at the clinical level.
Knowledge of medical terminology required.
Attention to detail and ability to multi-task are critical.***EDUCATION***High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Medical Assistant training/certification preferred.***EXPERIENCE***Minimum of three years’ experience in a medical facility strongly desired.
Prior experience/training in medical terminology and rehabilitative services strongly desired.
