
Outside Parts Sales Specialist

Overview
The Outside Parts Sales Representative is responsible for interacting with customers in person, over the phone, and/or email, and social media. Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive account specific growth strategies.
Responsibilities
Selling aftermarket items including but not limited to Thermo King parts, trailer parts, and spotter parts.
Prospect for new accounts/referrals which includes compiling and updating list of prospective customers in all aftermarket parts sectors.
Take parts orders, print invoices and make sure payment is up to date.
Deliver and return parts when available and makes sense with daily routes.
Plan territory coverage and call upon key accounts (current and prospective) regularly.
Knowledge, Education and/or Experience
Requires a high school diploma or equivalent
Transportation refrigeration product knowledge is a plus
Previous parts and service sales experience
Skills
Basic computer skills
Exceptional telephone etiquette skills
Strong customer service skills
Strong organizational skills
Abilities
Apply good judgment in recognizing scope of authority
Able to read and interpret billing statements and work orders
Communicate clearly and effectively
Working Conditions
This job operates in a parts store/repair shop environment.
This job requires daily travel to customers location.
