
Territory Sales Representative - Commercial HVAC

THE JOB
This growing organization is seeking an experienced territory sales professional to help develop and grow new business in the greater Portland, Oregon, region.
This hybrid field/office/remote role, you will sell HVAC and building control projects and service agreements to Owner and Property Manager personas. Key verticals sold into include Healthcare, K-12, Government, Manufacturing, and other emerging Commercial verticals. Estimating and specifying products in construction projects are key in this role.
The right mechanically-driven territory professional for this opportunity will be comfortable estimating and selling in-the-field direct to Owner/end-users.
THE QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum 3 years of commercial construction or controls territory sales experience
Experience selling HVAC products/services, mechanical systems, building automation, or related construction solutions
Past ability to work with building owners and/or facility/property managers
Estimating experience required
Proven success in generating and maintaining customer relationships
Able to attend customer events (lunches, happy hours, golfing, etc.)
Active driver's licence and vehicle required - able to pass background/driving checks
Must live in Oregon or SW Washington, open to working in-the-field, remotely, and/or in the local office at least 1-2 days a week
THE BENEFITS
$100-150K in year 1 targeted earnings = $80-130K salary DOE + monthly uncapped commissions
By year 2-3, $150K–$200K+ is attainable as recurring revenue grows with multiyear contracts
$800/month vehicle allowance
