The
340B Senior Sales Executive
supports management and growth of the pharmacy’s
340B Program
within a specialty pharmacy environment. This role is responsible for coordinating program operations and driving
strategic business development initiatives
to expand the pharmacy’s network of covered entities and health system partners. The representative will work closely with internal pharmacy teams and external stakeholders to
identify, pursue, and support new contract pharmacy relationships with hospitals, health systems, and federally qualified health centers (FQHCs) . This position combines
340B program expertise with relationship management and sales support
to help grow the pharmacy’s contract pharmacy footprint. We are hiring two Senior Sales Executives to oversee and grow our business across the United States. Key Responsibilities
Business Development & Sales Support Identify and research
potential health systems, hospitals, FQHCs, and covered entities
that may benefit from contract pharmacy partnerships. Support outreach and relationship development with
prospective 340B covered entities . Participate in presentations, proposal development, and onboarding discussions with potential partners. Assist leadership with
contract pharmacy growth initiatives and sales strategies . Maintain a pipeline of prospective partners and track outreach activity. Covered Entity & Partner Relationship Management Serve as a point of contact for existing covered entities and contract pharmacy partners. Support onboarding and implementation of
new contract pharmacy relationships . Coordinate communication regarding program updates, eligibility issues, and operational processes. Maintain strong working relationships with health system pharmacy leadership and administrators. Data Monitoring & Reporting Generate and analyze 340B program reports (accumulation, replenishment, inventory, compliance). Track performance metrics related to both
program operations and contract pharmacy growth . Investigate and resolve claim discrepancies or eligibility questions. Provide insights and data to leadership supporting
sales and expansion efforts . Cross-Functional Collaboration Work closely with pharmacy operations, billing, IT, compliance, and business development teams. Assist with implementation of new 340B contracts, software systems, or workflow processes. Support training and education for internal staff and new covered entity partners. Minimum Requirements
Degree or equivalent and typically requires 7+ years of relevant experience. Education
High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred (Healthcare Administration, Pharmacy, Business, or related field). Critical Skills
5+ years of experience in
pharmacy operations, specialty pharmacy, 340B program management, or healthcare sales. Strong knowledge of
340B Drug Pricing Program regulations, compliance requirements, and the broader 340B landscape. Proven relationship‑building, stakeholder engagement, and communication skills. Effective presenter with the ability to influence diverse healthcare audiences. Strong analytical thinking and problem‑solving abilities. Ability to balance
compliance‑driven responsibilities with business growth goals. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, CRM platforms, and reporting tools. Preferred Qualifications
Experience working with
health systems, hospitals, or FQHCs . Prior experience in
contract pharmacy development or healthcare business development . Familiarity with
HRSA audit processes and compliance monitoring . Experience with pharmacy claims adjudication and inventory management systems. Experience with pharmacy management systems and/or 340B software platforms. Working Conditions
Large percent of time performing computer-based work is required. Travel up to 70% within assigned territory.
