About the position

Velosio is seeking a

Manager, Engagement Marketing

to own event strategy and execution that fuels pipeline creation, acceleration, and bookings across direct and indirect channels. Reporting directly to the

VP of Marketing , this role is a critical driver of brand presence, demand generation, and sales alignment. The Manager, Engagement Marketing will collaborate closely with Sales, Partner Teams, and Practice Leaders to identify, plan, and execute a high-impact event portfolio—including Microsoft ecosystem events, industry conferences, partner events, ABM activations, client events, and Velosio-hosted experiences. This individual will oversee the full event lifecycle, including budgeting, planning, vendor and stakeholder management, on-site execution, and post-event follow-up and ROI analysis. This role also manages a Marketing Coordinator (Atlanta-based), who supports event logistics and campaign execution. Hybrid (Atlanta, GA) — 3 days per week in-office.

Event Planning & Execution

Owner of the strategy, planning, logistics, and execution for 20+ events annually across partner, industry, ABM, and Velosio-hosted programs. Key Responsibilities: Build and manage the annual event strategy and calendar aligned to Velosio’s growth goals. Own end-to-end planning: venue sourcing, partner alignment, invitations, travel coordination, collateral, booth design, shipping, and onsite logistics. Lead all pre-event workflows, timelines, and task management for the Marketing Coordinator and extended team – marketing operations to supply project management templates in SmartSheet. Develop event messaging, promotional campaigns, and attendee engagement strategies in partnership with the broader marketing team. Manage vendor relationships (agencies, printers, venues, AV, booth builders, etc.). Attend events as the onsite lead to ensure flawless execution, brand consistency, and an exceptional attendee experience. Partner with Sales before, during, and after events to support meeting scheduling, lead capture, and follow-up.

Program Visibility

Ensure all stakeholders have transparent, timely visibility into event plans, progress, needs, and results. Key Responsibilities: Maintain master project plans and event documentation with clear timelines, owners, and deliverables. Provide pre-event briefs for Sales, Executives, and Practice Leaders. Communicate progress updates, risks, and required actions to internal teams. Work with Marketing Ops to ensure workflows are set up for lead capture and follow-up readiness. Ensure the organization has clarity on event purpose, goals, responsibilities, and expected outcomes.

Analysis & Reporting

Measure and optimize the performance of Velosio’s event portfolio with a data-driven approach. Key Responsibilities: In partnership with Marketing Operations, own event reporting and performance dashboards, including leads, pipeline influence, revenue attribution, and ROI. Conduct post-event debriefs with Sales to assess lead quality, engagement, and outcomes. Evaluate event success against defined KPIs and make recommendations for future investment. Build a quarterly and annual “event performance summary” to guide budget decisions. Partner with Marketing Ops to ensure accurate tracking of event-sourced and event-influenced pipeline.

Stakeholder Management

Serve as the connective tissue between Marketing, Sales, Partners, and Leadership. Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with Sales Leadership and Practice Leaders to identify high-value events and define goals. Partner with Microsoft and channel partners to co-market and co-fund events when appropriate. Build strong relationships across departments to ensure alignment and smooth execution. Influence and guide internal stakeholders toward strategic decisions rooted in data and market opportunity. Ensure Sales understands follow-up expectations and timelines for each event.

What you’ll bring

5–7+ years of experience in event management, experiential marketing, or field marketing. Background in

tech, SaaS, IT services, or IT consulting Experience with the

Microsoft ecosystem

strongly preferred, but not required. Demonstrated success owning events end-to-end and driving measurable pipeline results. Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple complex programs simultaneously. Strong communication skills—including cross-functional alignment, stakeholder updates, and executive-ready reporting. Ability to thrive in a high-velocity environment with shifting priorities. Experience managing budgets and negotiating vendor contracts. Experience managing direct reports or contractors a plus. Willingness to travel for on-site event execution (approximately 30%).
