Take ownership of a dedicated pool of Scott Dunn Private members in the California area. The Private Travel Relationship Manager will prospect, engage, onboard and service selected members, growing and managing the portfolio through business development, relationship nurturing, retention, and expertly executing travel requirements. This role offers a personalized leisure travel planning approach with support from the global travel team when required. You will work with wealth-aware clients, navigate global products and regions, generate enquiries through proactive communication, and deliver high-quality holiday plans, quotations and experiences that stand out. A key measure of success is the ability to shape members’ annual travel calendars with compelling ideas and refined proposals that cannot be replicated elsewhere. You will build trust, drive loyalty, increase repeat bookings, generate referrals, and contribute to the growth of the Scott Dunn Private membership base. Key Responsibilities
Growth & Business Development Identify and execute opportunities for Scott Dunn Private prospects to be invited to membership through personal network, database mining, referrals from current members, PA/EA networks, luxury brand partnerships and wealth management companies Work towards targets and meet individual quarterly and annual Key Performance Indicators Achieve individual performance targets, maintaining high service quality and productivity Activate the existing database and partner referrals to join membership Member Engagement & Relationship Building Proactively promote the exclusivity and benefits of Scott Dunn Private membership Target, prospect, meet and onboard new members into the membership Regularly meet with members in person, via video calls, or at hosted events to strengthen relationships Develop and record in Scott Dunn's systems a personalized contact plan for each member, leading to enquiry generation, retention, and growth in booking numbers per member Capture all member personal preferences in Scott Dunn's systems to refine personalization at touchpoints Anticipate members' needs by maintaining detailed records of preferences, past trips, and feedback Travel Planning & Execution Inspire members' travel plans through travel mapping sessions and creation of highly qualified travel enquiries Take full ownership of all aspects of selling and booking a member's holiday, including quotations and documentation Ensure every itinerary is hyper-bespoke and tailored to the members' needs Collaborate with destination experts and Scott Dunn Private Managers to execute bookings seamlessly Source product to fill portfolio gaps with support from the destination management team Account for costs and margins on each booking in line with guidelines Complete travel documentation accurately within specified time frames Recognize opportunities to enhance bookings through upgrades and bespoke experiences from Scott Dunn's Black Book Member Support & Service Excellence Ensure travellers are supported through out-of-hours cover as necessary Act on feedback or complaints swiftly and coordinate with the Guest Relations team as needed Maintain an NPS score above 80 through exceptional service Deliver personalized and hyper-bespoke itineraries to consistently exceed expectations Product Development & Knowledge Sharing Conduct familiarization trips abroad and share learnings with the team Collaborate with destination managers to understand key products and create wow moments for members Address gaps in the product portfolio and identify opportunities for new offerings Train colleagues with knowledge gained from travels and support the wider Scott Dunn Private team Share expertise from familiarization trips and industry events to enhance service delivery Experience & Qualifications
Minimum of 5 years in the luxury travel sector with global luxury travel sales Proven face-to-face relationship management with UHNW clients Extensive experience with UHNWIs and luxury guest profiles and contact planning Sales-driven with focus on exceptional service Ability to meet and exceed performance targets Comprehensive knowledge of global luxury travel destinations and commitment to continuous learning Excellent relationship management and communication skills Expertise in CRM systems with high accuracy Experience upselling premium services and generating sales opportunities Collaborative and mentoring abilities in relationship management A passion for detail, knowledge, and inspiration Willingness to work flexible hours to meet member requirements Proactive and meticulous approach to service delivery Work Perks & Benefits
