Bloomberg Media is seeking a strategic and results-driven leader to oversee Product Marketing and Growth Marketing for Bloomberg.com (http://Bloomberg.com)’s news subscription business. This role will be responsible for driving subscriber acquisition, engagement, and conversion through integrated marketing strategies, cross-functional leadership, and data-driven execution.
The ideal candidate brings deep experience in subscription-based businesses, a proven ability to scale acquisition efforts, and demonstrated success leading high-performing marketing teams.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Strategic Leadership
Develop and lead comprehensive product and growth marketing strategies to drive subscription acquisition and revenue growth.
Lead annual and quarterly planning processes for Product Marketing and Promotions.
Represent Marketing in cross-functional planning forums and serve as the marketing lead for major product initiatives and launches.
GROWTH MARKETING
Develop and execute paid acquisition strategies, including campaign development, media planning, creative briefing, testing roadmaps, and performance optimization.
Launch and scale high-performing acquisition campaigns and limited-time offers (LTOs) to drive conversion and attract high-quality subscribers.
Partner with paid media teams to ensure efficient and effective budget allocation and performance scaling.
PRODUCT MARKETING
Lead go-to-market strategy for key product initiatives and enhancements.
Drive engagement and funnel development among prospective and existing audiences.
Align product positioning, messaging, and value proposition to support subscription growth objectives.
MEASUREMENT & OPTIMIZATION
Establish and maintain a comprehensive measurement framework to evaluate campaign performance and marketing effectiveness.
Leverage data and analytics to uncover actionable insights and continuously optimize acquisition and engagement strategies.
Define success metrics and report on business impact to senior leadership.
CUSTOMER-CENTRIC STRATEGY
Utilize audience segmentation and behavioral data to inform marketing strategies.
Partner with Consumer Insights to deepen understanding of customer needs, preferences, and lifecycle behaviors.
Ensure marketing initiatives are aligned with evolving subscriber expectations.
CREATIVE & BRAND STEWARDSHIP
Collaborate with in-house creative teams to develop compelling, on-brand campaigns across channels.
Advocate for creative excellence and consistency throughout the customer journey.
TEAM LEADERSHIP & COLLABORATION
Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing Product and Growth Marketing team.
Foster strong cross-functional partnerships with Product, Paid Media, Subscriber Marketing, Analytics, and Editorial stakeholders.
Promote a culture of accountability, innovation, and performance excellence.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
10+ years of marketing experience within a subscription-based business model.
Proven track record of driving subscriber acquisition and subscription revenue growth.
Demonstrated success managing and developing high-performing teams.
Extensive experience launching integrated, performance-driven marketing campaigns.
Strong analytical capabilities and experience building measurement frameworks.
Exceptional cross-functional leadership and communication skills.
Salary Range = 155000 - 210000 USD Annually + Benefits + Bonus
The referenced salary range is based on the Company's good faith belief at the time of posting. Actual compensation may vary based on factors such as geographic location, work experience, market conditions, education/training and skill level.
