Overview
Northwood Health Systems is currently seeking a full-time Community Engagement Specialist. The CES serves as support for adults with psychiatric disabilities who have a history of and / or are at risk of involuntary commitment and is a facilitator of a wide range of community efforts designed to meet the needs of the patient. Successful applicants will be energetic and determined to provide high quality care in a fast-paced environment. Frequent contact with patients and a positive caring attitude are a must. Community Engagement is a service which identifies, connects and/or provides personal and community supports to individuals with a diagnosis of mental illness, substance use or co-occurring.

Qualifications
High school diploma or GED
Minimum of 18 years of age
Valid driver's license is required
Must pass a background check
