About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President to lead the underwriting and management of a diverse portfolio of commercial and industrial (C&I) and syndicated loans. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the underwriting process, evaluating borrower creditworthiness, and ensuring that transactions align with the organization's risk appetite and business objectives. This role requires deep expertise in credit risk assessment, financial analysis, and portfolio management, as well as the ability to foster strong collaboration with internal teams and external stakeholders.
Key responsibilities for the Vice President include conducting detailed financial analysis, performing stress testing, and preparing comprehensive credit memos with clear recommendations. The role also involves managing and monitoring an active loan portfolio, identifying emerging risks, and ensuring compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in a related field, a minimum of 5 years' experience in underwriting and managing C&I loans, and proficiency in financial modeling, credit analysis, and risk assessment. Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment are essential, with experience in syndicated loans and familiarity with credit tools being a plus.
