Main responsibilities: The marketing team at Albertsons companies has a vision to build lasting customer relationships through personalized experiences that make their grocery shopping effortless and rewarding. We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Analyst, to support development of insights and analytics for our personalized deals program and help us realize our vision. We have several programs that help us achieve that goal today: Personalized deals, gas rewards and grocery rewards. Data is at the center of all decisions made to improve these loyalty programs and that is where you come in. The analytics team specializes in deep-diving customer level behavior, aggregating results for summarized reporting, and sharing insights with stakeholders including senior leadership, internal teams, CPGs and external partners. We are passionate about serving our customers' needs across their lifecycle and journeys using relevancy, personalization, targeted promotions, and best-in-class customer lifecycle and relationship management practices. We are seeking an 'Senior Analyst, who is passionate about data driven decision making and who will be responsible for analyzing and measuring various personalized deals strategies and will leverage customer data to derive insights that inform our marketing and loyalty strategies. The position will be based in Pleasanton, CA Support Albertson's divisions with periodic reporting showing the effectiveness of the Personalized Deals and other loyalty programs Ad Hoc Reporting of Division Specific Initiatives Prepare periodic and quarterly presentation materials in support of division discussions Analyze the Loyalty program documenting the key take away and actionable recommendations Investigate and respond to ad hoc data requests from the divisional and business development teams Create new Power BI Dashboards displaying ABS company/loyalty program KPI's in a clear and impactful manner Develop and maintain presentation material based on your work for leadership and other stakeholders Interface with a wide variety of internal and external stakeholders to set expectations and address business needs This will include division and national leader interaction and engagement. The opportunity to present your work to our leaders and share insights. Work with business partners to gather and understand functional requirements, develop complex queries and provide reports. We are looking for candidates who possess the following: 5 plus years' work experience in a related field; loyalty, marketing, customer analytics Proficiency in SQL required. Experience with Data Visualization tools (Power BI or a similar tool) Required. Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Economics, Business, Math, or Statistics; MBA plus. Excellent project management, analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong interpersonal and team interaction skills. Highly collaborative. Good presentation skills, with the ability to communicate with Management. Ability to handle multiple assignments and manage competing priorities with tight deadlines. Strong detail orientation. High degree of initiative and results orientation. Proficient in MS Office Suite, modeling, data manipulation tools, and relational databases. Experience with Python and/or R, a big plus. Experience with CPG, Marketing, Rewards Programs or Retail Category Management a plus. Pay Transparency: Starting rates will be no less than the local minimum wage and may vary based on criteria such as location, experience, and qualifications. Candidates with unique qualifications may be considered for compensation above this range.
