Overview

Montgomery Parks Department, part of the Maryland-National Capital Park and Planning Commission, is seeking seasonal support for the Public Information and Customer Service (PICS) Office. This position supports primarily external, but also internal customers. Ideal candidates are patient, detail-oriented, deadline-driven, self-starters, with polite and professional mannerisms, are comfortable with technology, and have effective organizational and multi-tasking skills. Candidates must be able to excel in a fast-paced work environment, welcoming various interruptions and task juggling. On the job training is provided. Part-time long-term

position with a schedule of Monday-Friday, 12 pm-5 pm, amounting to 25 hours per week. In urgent situations, individuals can be requested to work additional hours if available to do so. Respond accurately and professionally to phone calls, emails, and other written correspondence received through general information channels regarding the department's work area. Provide friendly and knowledgeable customer service to Montgomery County's citizens and Parks staff. Perform database maintenance, including data entry and organization. Consistently track and work to enhance customer relationships and interactions. Utilize various software systems to manage requests, including but not limited to: CRM (Customer Relationship Management) EAM RainoutLine TreeKeeper Microsoft: Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, Word, Excel Qualifications

High school diploma or GED. Bilingual (Spanish) preferred. May be subject to medical, drug and alcohol testing. A complete criminal background investigation will be completed before hire. Equal Opportunity
