
Customer Service Representative - Seasonal

Come work at The Maryland-National Capital Park and Planning Commission (M-NCPPC), Prince George’s County Department of Parks and Recreation pools! Our Aquatics & Athletic Facilities Division (AAFD) is currently hiring Customer Service Representatives to provide frontline support by greeting patrons, answering questions, and promoting positive experience at community and recreation facilities. This position will be responsible for providing excellent customer service to employees and visitors.

Responding to inquiries in person and by phone
Processing program registrations, memberships and facility reservations
Handling payments and basic recordkeeping
Assisting with administrative tasks and daily facility operations
Ensure safe, welcoming, and customer-focused environment while supporting staff, programs and events across the division
Minimum Qualifications
All selected candidates must display excellent customer service skills.
Minimum age of 16 years old.
Preferred Qualifications
First Aid, CPR and AED certifications (Trainings classes available)
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work well with others and be part of a team
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
General cleaning of facility
Maybe subject to medical, drug and alcohol testing.
Work hours
Weekday mornings (5:30 am – 10:30 am)
Weekday afternoon (9:30 am – 6:30 pm)
Weekday evenings (4 – 9 pm)
Weekend mornings (8 am – 12 pm)
Weekend afternoon (11:30 am – 5:15 pm)
Working Conditions/Environment
Must be able to tolerate indoor and outdoor natatorium conditions including varying temperatures and humidity levels
Must be able to stand, walk and/or sit for prolonged periods of time
Must be able to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced work environment.
Able to work a flexible schedule that includes evenings, weekdays, weekends, and holidays.
