Title: Email Developer
Location: Hybrid in orlando FL
As an Email Lead, you will play a crucial role in creating and optimizing email campaigns to deliver engaging and impactful messages to our audience. Leveraging your email knowledge and best practices, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance the overall effectiveness of our email marketing initiatives. Your expertise will contribute to the creation of visually appealing and effective emails, ensuring a dynamic and personalized experience for our owners. The ideal candidate is a technical minded, strategic thinker with strong organizational and communication skills. They are well versed in email best practices and know how to put together email content in a simple, yet effective way.
Education • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or relevant experience accepted in lieu of degree.
Training requirements • Some on job training included.
Knowledge and skills • Experience working in an email platform, Salesforce Marketing Cloud preferred. • Knowledge of email testing and optimization approaches. • Capability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders to effectively manage expectations, build trust, and achieve high client satisfaction. • Proficiency in delivering results within tight deadlines in a dynamic business environment. • Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on achieving business outcomes. • Ability to coordinate, prioritize, and accomplish multiple tasks in a fast-paced atmosphere with minimal supervision. • Knowledge and experience with project management tools, Jira preferred. • Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.
Technical Skills • Solid understanding of HTML and CSS coding specific to email. • Experience with email marketing platforms- Responsys, Silverpop, Message Gears, Send Grid. Salesforce Marketing Cloud experience preferred. • Experience working with mobile first and responsive design email templates and strategies. • Experience with marketing tagging and tracking platforms such as Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Adobe Analytics is preferred. • Experience with 3rd party email tools such as Litmus, Sparkpost, MovableInk, and a working knowledge of how to best use these tools. • Basic proficiency in AmpScript or similar personalization language. • Understanding of SQL is a plus, but not required. • Salesforce certifications are a plus, but not required. • Deep understanding of compliance principles- CAN-SPAM, GDPR, and other email laws and best practices.

(45%) • Collaborate with greater digital marketing team and stakeholders to align on an email calendar and maintain the projects within it. (15%) • Continue to test and learn. Analyze past email campaigns for insights and learnings, then share with greater team and stakeholders. (15%) • Work with technical email team to continue to innovate and iterate on the technical capabilities in email, creating more streamlined processes and better results. (15%) • Create presentations showcasing the wins and learnings in email, and share with leadership and or stakeholders. (10%)
