Overview
As part of Bloomberg Live, you will lead the strategy, planning, and execution of all internal and external bilateral meetings and executive engagements across our global events. You will ensure Bloomberg senior leaders — and their external counterparts, including government officials, CEOs, international delegations, and institutional partners — are prepared, supported, and positioned for high-impact interactions that advance Bloomberg’s strategic objectives. Responsibilities
Own the full lifecycle of bilateral meetings for both internal Bloomberg leadership and external VIPs, including planning, calendaring, briefing, and day-of execution Serve as the senior point of contact onsite for Bloomberg executives and external delegations during BLE engagements, providing real-time support, protocol guidance, and diplomatic judgment Prepare and manage participation in bilateral meetings, roundtables, and forums, developing agendas, intelligence briefs, talking points, background research, project plans, and post-meeting reports Lead project management for all internal and external bilateral engagements, ensuring teams and partners meet deadlines and escalating risks as appropriate Establish success metrics for bilateral meetings and VIP experiences, and ensure performance is tracked and reported through recaps, insights, and follow-up documentation Act as a liaison between BLE and leadership across Bloomberg Media, News, LP, Philanthropies, BNEF, and the Management Committee, as well as key external stakeholders (under the direction of the CE team) Manage the executive and VIP engagement pipeline, maintaining tools, trackers, workflows, and long-term relationship pathways Create and oversee a comprehensive global tracker of bilateral engagements involving senior Bloomberg leadership and external partners Develop a potential bilateral meeting product for external partners and VIPs, including defining value proposition, use cases, operational model, and revenue or partnership pathways Identify new opportunities for internal and external stakeholder engagement that support Bloomberg’s business objectives and strengthen institutional relationships This role is essential to delivering a seamless, high-touch bilateral meeting experience — internally and externally — that enhances Bloomberg’s global influence and advances strategic priorities across the organization. Requirements
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience 8+ years of experience supporting senior executives, government officials, or other high-profile stakeholders Experience delivering VIP experiences and managing C-suite or ministerial-level audiences Experience managing multiple complex projects simultaneously in fast-paced environments Ability to anticipate challenges, prioritize effectively, and navigate ambiguity Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to prepare executive-ready materials Skilled in developing presentations, briefing packets, and summaries for internal and external audiences Preferred Qualifications Experience preparing stakeholder briefs, talking points, and agendas for bilateral or diplomatic meetings Strong relationship management experience with senior leaders across corporate, government, and global institutions Familiarity with CRM or engagement tracking platforms (e.g., Salesforce) Experience supporting global convenings, international delegations, or protocol-driven environments Salary and Benefits
Salary Range = 90,000-115,000 USD Annually + Benefits + Bonus The referenced salary range is based on the Company’s good faith belief at the time of posting. Actual compensation may vary based on factors such as geographic location, work experience, market conditions, education/training and skill level.
