Looking for Visionary Leaders We seek forward-thinking technical leaders skilled at defining and executing large-scale system and data-plane architectures in the public cloud. As an acknowledged expert, you'll deliver sophisticated solutions for OCI's networking and storage requirements, mentor senior engineers, drive strategic initiatives, and ensure cross-team alignment for the delivery of essential services. Your contributions will be pivotal in simplifying challenges, enhancing operational outcomes, and elevating engineering standards throughout the organization. Key Responsibilities Provide architectural leadership across multiple teams; set and guide both short- and long-term engineering directions for key initiatives. Define and drive the implementation of foundational services/platforms with global significance. Guide teams in resolving complex problems while balancing innovation, performance, and reliability. Mentor engineers at all levels; cultivate a culture of technical excellence, ownership, and continuous improvement. Work closely with product managers, architects, and business leaders to outline roadmaps and achieve impactful outcomes. Conduct thorough code and design reviews to ensure operational readiness and best practices across the organization. Represent OCI TSO in cross-organizational initiatives, executive briefings, and industry forums. Basic Qualifications BS, MS, or PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience). 12+ years of experience delivering distributed, mission-critical cloud services at scale. Demonstrated expertise in writing and reviewing high-quality code in C/C++, Go, or similar languages. Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and system-level optimization for performance and scalability. Extensive experience with advanced networking data-plane architectures (e.g., DPU-based or DPDK-based solutions). In-depth knowledge of network virtualization, protocols, and distributed systems design. Proven experience leading operationally critical, Tier-0 platform and infrastructure teams. Preferred Qualifications Strong knowledge of Linux internals, distributed system troubleshooting, and performance optimization. Recognized expertise in DPU programming (e.g., P4/Pensando/AMD, DOCA/BlueField) and cutting-edge cloud infrastructure. Record of publications, leadership in open-source projects, or participation as a speaker at conferences. Work Location : Please refer to the applicable work address maintained in the postings.
