Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Epicor ERP Functional Consultant to manage and analyze data within the Epicor ERP system. This role is essential for providing system administration support and ensuring optimal system performance. You'll play a key role in delivering actionable insights to senior management to facilitate data-driven decision making across the organization. Note:

This position requires on-site availability 5 days per week at our Chicago area location. Job Duties & Responsibilities: Epicor Data Analysis & Reporting Conduct comprehensive data analysis within Epicor ERP, identifying trends and areas for improvement. Create and maintain both regular and ad-hoc reports for various departments and senior management. Develop and optimize SQL queries to extract, manipulate, and analyze complex data sets. Design and implement dashboards and visualizations to effectively communicate insights. System Administration Administer and maintain the Epicor ERP system, including user management, security roles, and permissions. Perform routine system maintenance tasks such as backups, updates, and patches. Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and recommend improvements. Collaborate with IT to ensure seamless integration between Epicor ERP and other systems. Reporting and Data Manipulation Utilize Epicor’s reporting tools and BI platforms to create accurate reports. Manipulate and clean data to ensure consistency and accuracy. Develop automated reporting solutions for streamlined data delivery. Business Process Improvement Work with department heads to identify KPIs and craft relevant reports. Analyze business processes and recommend data-driven enhancements. Support strategic decision-making by providing data-backed recommendations. System Optimization Identify opportunities to enhance Epicor ERP functionality through customizations. Assist in configuring and maintaining Epicor modules to meet business needs. Provide training and support to end users on reporting and data analysis. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Extensive experience with Epicor ERP focusing on data analysis, system integrations, and reporting. Advanced SQL proficiency and data manipulation techniques. Expertise in creating complex reports and dashboards using Epicor and BI tools. Strong analytical skills to translate data into actionable insights. Excellent communication skills for presenting complex data to non-technical audiences. Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, or similar. Knowledge of statistical analysis and predictive modeling techniques. Familiarity with manufacturing processes and key performance indicators. Basic understanding of network administration for data access and security. Bachelor's degree in Business Analytics, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
