What You'll Do (Key Responsibilities) As our Pricing Analyst expert, you are the "Unicorn" that bridges the gap between Sales and Accounting. You will act as a Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) by taking complex, rigid workbooks and transforming them into flexible, competitive models. Strategic Modeling: Develop and maintain pricing models (labor, productivity, taxes) to ensure new business is priced accurately and profitably.
Data Storytelling: Create high-level dashboards to monitor gross margin trends and translate raw data into actionable insights for leadership.
Bid Diplomacy: Partner with Sales (BDMs) and Accounting to evaluate bids and renewals, ensuring they align with margin targets and regional operational abilities.
Market Intelligence: Run wage and labor studies to ensure bids are feasible in specific geographic markets; analyze win/loss trends and competitor pricing.
Systems Integration: Work with Regional Finance Advisors (RFAs) to seasonalize budgets into Adaptive and manage data within internal ERP systems.
What You Bring to the Team Expert Excel Mastery (Required): You go far beyond V-Lookups. You must understand complex "if-then-else" formulas and be able to identify/fix broken calculations. This is a core requirement of the role.
Technical "Plus" Skills (Highly Encouraged): Previous experience with Tableau and Salesforce is a major advantage. We are looking for someone ready to hit the ground running with data visualization and CRM tools.
Financial Acumen: Deep understanding of P&L statements and the fundamentals of service-based labor and production rates.
Communication & Diplomacy: You can manage "dual loyalties" between Sales (who want to win) and Accounting (who want to protect margins).
Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics.
