Apple is seeking an experienced subscription lifecycle marketer with a passion for growing consumer subscription businesses to support engagement and retention initiatives for Apple Services.
Description
The Growth Marketing Manager will work with a wide variety of functional teams across Apple including engineering, product, operations, data analytics, design, and business. You will be responsible for creating lifecycle journeys that connect with customers in a privacy-friendly way to drive engagement and make sure they are getting the most out of their subscription service via owned channels including but not limited to push notifications, email, and in-app messages.
Responsibilities
Define customer journeys, value propositions and service educational messaging. Build cross-functional relationships and plans to improve performance against meaningful metrics, with a focus on experimentation and optimization. Collaborate with a broad range of teams in different timezones, including business, product, engineering, analytics and design teams. Submit and maintain operational briefs to ensure flawless execution of campaigns. Develop and optimize engagement and retention strategies for Apple Services. Optimize programs through A/B testing, offering ideation and development of strategic recommendations based on data driven insights and strategies to engage with customers. Develop a process of continuous improvement, where the results of this work are analyzed and insights are fed back into the plans.
Minimum Qualifications
5-8 years experience leading customer lifecycle marketing programs, ideally for a media platform or a consumer subscription business with demonstrated success achieving growth goals of user engagement and retention. Experience testing and optimizing marketing channels including push notification, email and in-app messaging tactics. Strong project management capability with exceptional attention to detail. Possess a deep understanding of A/B testing and data-driven optimization marketing. Shown ability to meet deadlines and get consensus while balancing many projects and priorities. You are an analytical problem solver with a track record of success in developing and optimizing marketing strategies and programs that drive customer engagement and retention. Experience working with collaboratively with creative and design teams to develop clear briefs and providing feedback on creative while meeting project milestones.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience leading lifecycle marketing programs for a suite or bundle of products. Thorough understanding of integrating product, design, business, marketing, engineering and other cross-functional stakeholders to clarify program goals, strategy, and execution. Excellent presentation, written and verbal communication skills with the ability to articulate a strong point of view clearly and succinctly to both senior executives and individual contributors. Exceptional relationship-building and interpersonal skills; ability to develop strong working partnerships. Ability to work collaboratively under pressure, with proven experience working on complex, international, large-scale, and time-critical projects. Outstanding cross-functional team working skills with an ability to collaborate closely with other teams to solve problems and implement programs that achieve core business objectives.
Pay & Benefits
At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $134,800 and $203,000, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple’s discretionary employee stock programs. Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple’s Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
