* Produce, edit, and publish multimedia content including short-form video, photography, graphics, and written copy for the institution’s official social media channels.* Manage day-to-day operations of institutional social media accounts, including monitoring comments and messages, responding appropriately, and escalating sensitive or high-risk issues as needed.* Meet with internal and external community members to gather content, fulfill project requests, attend events for content capture, and support cross-departmental initiatives.* Collaborate with Marketing & Events, Development & Alumni, Admissions & Recruitment, and other campus stakeholders to support campaigns, initiatives, and annual communication cycles.* Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, Journalism, or a related field.* Minimum of one (1) year of experience.* Deep and demonstrated understanding of social media channels including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, and TikTok.* Proven, professional track record in development of social media marketing strategies and programs.* Experience with copywriting and editing to ensure accurate and engaging copy that matches tone, look, and voice in accordance with our style guide.* Experience capturing photos and videos for use on social media.* Knowledge of accessibility and implementation in social media, including video captioning.* Experience using social media monitoring tools.* Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite products (Photoshop, After Effects, Premiere), Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn.* Eligibility to work in the United States without sponsorship (Nevada State does not sponsor employment-related visas).* Creative expertise on the technical aspects of social media marketing, execution and development including application knowledge.* Experience building online interaction among students, instructors, and community organizations/members.* Knowledge of digital marketing.* Detailed CV or resume listing relevant qualifications and experience;* Letter of interest indicating why you are a good fit for the position and Nevada State University;* Two writing samples (social media/video content or social media campaign);* Names and contact information of three references (you will be notified before references are contacted).Thank you for your interest in a career with Nevada State University.
