Mortgage Closer
The Mortgage Closer is responsible for the accurate completion and review of documents required to close real estate transactions in a compliant manner. Responsibilities include facilitating the timely closing of mortgage loans, preparing and tracking loan documentation, ensuring industry compliance standards, and maintaining effective communication with the appropriate internal and external parties to ensure a smooth closing process. Daily responsibilities consist of: Prepare and review all closing documents to meet industry compliance standards Update systems with required data and manage the closing calendar effectively Contact members, sellers, agents and brokers to gather additional information and communicate details of transaction Communicate with Title Company to coordinate, balance and complete transaction Calculate pro-rated balances on mortgages, taxes, interest, and confirm closing costs and escrow items Disburse funds accurately and efficiently Examine closed loan files for accuracy and follow up as needed This job might be for you if: You accept responsibility with a high level of ownership You have the ability to work independently but also be a team player You have the ability to multi-task and adapt to change You enjoy fast-paced work environments You process information accurately and timely You understand and anticipate the internal and external customer business needs and act accordingly What we are looking for: A high school education or GED One to Three years in a lending related role Employee Perks: Competitive Pay Student Loan Reimbursement Tuition Assistance Wellness Programs Community Involvement and Paid Volunteer Time Professional Development/Award Winning Training Program 401K with Match Comprehensive Benefits Package Generous Paid Time Off Please note: A criminal background screen will be conducted upon hire.
