Job Responsibilities\nPerform multipoint inspections\nCommunicate additional service/repair needs to service advisors\nService universal joints, grease fittings, and steering knuckles using hand- or compressed-air powered grease guns\nInspect fluid levels in steering gears, power steering reservoirs, transmissions, differentiasl, rear axle housings and shackles\nCheck tire pressure\nLubricate moving parts with specified lubricants\nDrain oil from crankcase and refill with required amount of oil\nAdd water to radiator and battery\nReplace oil and air filters\nInspect all vehicles for additional repairs\nAdhere to all company policies, procedures, safety standards and codes of conduct\nFollow dealership safety procedures to avoid exposure to fumes, dirt and harsh chemicals\nCompensation

Qualifications

Must meet dealership's requirements for employment\nAbility to read/comprehend written instructions and information\nFamiliarity with all aspects of automotive repair/maintenance\nMust have a valid driver license and be able to operate manual transmissions\nPrior experience as a technician's helper or apprentice preferred\nEffective communication and interpersonal skills\nPhysical Requirements/Working Conditions

Occasional exposure to inclement weather\nAbility to operate an automobile\nProlonged periods of standing, stooping and bending\nExerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects\nRequires a significant amount of walking and/or standing. May also require working in the seated position for long periods while operating controls with arms and legs. This position may also require working at a production pace while pushing and/or pulling materials from place to place.

Position Overview\nWe are seeking a motivated and customer-focused

Express Service Advisor

to join our growing service team. This position is responsible for managing the

Express Service Lane , assisting customers with routine maintenance services, and ensuring a fast, efficient, and professional service experience.

The ideal candidate thrives in a

fast-paced environment , communicates effectively with customers and technicians, and is highly organized.

Key Responsibilities

Greet customers promptly and professionally upon arrival

Write repair orders for

express maintenance services

including:

Oil changes

Tire rotations

Multipoint inspections

Battery replacements

Cabin and engine air filters

Wiper blade replacements

Other quick maintenance services

Accurately document customer concerns and service requests

Communicate service recommendations and pricing clearly

Coordinate workflow with express technicians to maintain efficient turnaround times

Monitor vehicle progress and keep customers updated

Ensure repair orders are completed accurately and closed properly

Promote maintenance services and manufacturer recommended services

Deliver excellent customer service and maintain high CSI standards

Qualifications

Strong customer service and communication skills

Ability to multitask in a fast-paced service environment

Basic automotive knowledge is helpful

Strong organizational and time management skills

Computer proficiency and ability to learn dealership management systems

Valid driver's license
