Position Overview
Our client is located in Norwalk, and they're looking for an Asset Management Specialist to join their team. This person will support remarketing and asset management operations with a focus on maximizing recovery and accelerating turnover of repossessed and off-lease assets. Key Responsibilities
The Asset Management Specialist manages daily asset tracking, inspections, repair timelines, and documentation for repossessed and off-lease vehicles.
The Asset Management Specialist maintains sales websites and additional remarketing channels, ensuring inventory listings are accurate, up to date, and supported with proper photos and information.
Partners with vendors, dealers, and regional sales managers to recondition and prepare units for sale within established turnaround expectations.
Oversees remarketing initiatives including direct sales, auctions, wholesale transactions, and proactive outreach to both new and existing buyers.
Prepare and process required sales documentation, titles, and invoices while ensuring accuracy and compliance.
Conduct used truck and equipment evaluations and deliver timely valuations to credit, collections, and wholesale teams.
Monitor KPIs such as recovery rates, aging inventory, and responsiveness, maintaining alignment with operational goals and internal controls.
The Asset Management Specialist collaborates with leadership to identify opportunities that enhance efficiency, strengthen resale performance, and improve overall asset recovery.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications, Finance, or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.
At least five years of experience in asset management, transportation, or remarketing environments.
Strong organizational and communication skills with the ability to juggle multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.
Familiarity with vehicle valuations, auctions, and industry remarketing practices.
Bilingual skills are a plus.
Target Compensation: 60-65k
