Overview
InCharge Energy is seeking a highly organized, confident, and detail-driven
Corporate Recruiter
to support our growing hiring needs across technical, field, and corporate roles. This role is based out of our Richmond, VA office and works closely with the Recruiting Manager and hiring leaders across the business. In this fast-paced role, you’ll manage 10-15 open requisitions at a time and own full-cycle recruiting—from intake to offer—while delivering a high-quality candidate experience and maintaining strong communication, professionalism, and confidentiality. You’ll play a key role in helping us scale by identifying top talent, supporting hiring managers, and contributing to process improvements across the recruiting function.
What You’ll Do Full Cycle Recruiting
Manage 10-15 active requisitions across multiple departments and locations
Conduct intake meetings with hiring managers to align on role requirements, candidate profiles, and hiring timelines
Write, review, and revise job descriptions, leveraging AI tools where appropriate to improve clarity and consistency while ensuring accuracy and compliance
Post and manage job openings across platforms including Greenhouse (preferred), ADP, LinkedIn, Indeed, and other relevant job boards
Source, screen, and assess candidates for role fit, team alignment, and long-term success using structured interview techniques
Coordinate interview scheduling, feedback collection, and hiring decisions across teams and time zones
Manage agency relationships and candidate submittals, including screening, communication, and tracking
Submit offers for internal approval, extend offers to candidates, and manage negotiations when needed
Ensure a professional and positive candidate experience from first contact through offer acceptance
Hiring Operations & Onboarding
Initiate and track background checks, reference checks, and required pre-employment documentation
Launch and manage the onboarding process from signed offer through Day 1 for recruited candidates
Partner with HR, IT, hiring managers, and other internal teams to ensure smooth onboarding logistics including system access, equipment, and first-day readiness
Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate records and hiring activity within Greenhouse and related systems
Follow internal HR and recruiting SOPs to ensure compliance and consistency throughout the hiring process
Maintain accurate tracking of recruiting metrics and pipeline activity, including time-to-fill and source effectiveness
Maintain recruiting dashboards, reports, and pipeline updates with strong attention to detail
Analyze recruiting trends and hiring data to identify opportunities to improve efficiency, candidate quality, and hiring outcomes
Support periodic training for hiring teams on interviewing best practices, candidate evaluation, and recruiting processes
Assist with updates to recruiting SOPs, training materials, and internal documentation
Collaborate with the HR team on initiatives related to candidate experience, sourcing strategies, and recruiting process improvements
Your Experience & Capabilities
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications, Public Relations, Human Resources, or a related field required
3-5 years of experience in full-cycle recruiting
Exposure to hiring for technical, skilled trade, manufacturing, production, or field service roles is preferred
Proven ability to manage 10-15 concurrent requisitions in a fast-paced environment
Experience using an ATS (Greenhouse strongly preferred) along with LinkedIn Recruiter and job boards
Experience managing agency relationships and external candidate submissions
Demonstrated ability to write and refine job descriptions, including using AI-assisted tools to improve efficiency and quality
Excellent communication skills — clear, professional, responsive, and confident when working with hiring managers and candidates
Highly organized and detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities without losing accuracy
Strong collaboration skills and a proactive, solutions-oriented mindset
Salary $65,000 - $75,000 USD
