
Business Development Specialist (LATAM)

We are seeking a Business Development Specialist to expand our export business across LATAM. This role focuses on developing new customers, managing key accounts, and driving profitable growth in international resin markets.
Responsibilities
Develop new customers and distributors across LATAM markets Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to order fulfillment and payment collection Achieve assigned revenue, volume, and margin targets Build long-term relationships with key customers and partners Support technical discussions and recommend appropriate resin solutions Monitor market trends, pricing, and competitor activity Negotiate pricing, contracts, and commercial terms Coordinate with logistics teams to support export operations Address customer concerns and resolve commercial issues Requirements
3+ years of B2B sales experience in plastic resins or petrochemicals Knowledge of PP, PE, PS, PET or related resin products Experience with international trade or export business Strong negotiation and business development skills Bachelor’s degree in Business, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related field (preferred) Proficiency in English and Microsoft Office Preferred
Experience with Mexico or Brazil markets Spanish or Portuguese language skills (Strongly preferred) Experience in resin market analysis or trading
