Overview
We’re seeking an experienced sales and strategic account leader to drive growth across major utility customers in Eastern North America (U.S. & Canada). In this role, you will develop long-term relationships with senior stakeholders, create strategic account plans, and lead the identification and execution of new opportunities across advanced grid technologies and digital solutions for electric utilities. What You’ll Do
Develop and execute strategic account plans for key utility customers, with responsibility for revenue growth, pipeline development, and long-term partnerships. Build trusted relationships with senior decision-makers and position innovative grid technology solutions that support modern, resilient power networks. Identify, develop, and close new opportunities across solutions such as asset monitoring and diagnostics, protection and control systems, communications infrastructure, and grid data and analytics platforms. Collaborate cross-functionally with sales, product, engineering, and commercial teams to coordinate customer engagement and pursue joint opportunities. Lead complex, high-value solution sales cycles from early engagement through deal closure. Maintain accurate forecasts for pipeline, revenue, and margin across assigned accounts. Provide market insight on customer priorities, industry trends, pricing dynamics, and the competitive landscape to inform product and commercial strategy. What You’ll Bring
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a STEM discipline. 10+ years of experience in sales, strategic accounts, or commercial leadership. 7+ years of experience working with customers in the electrical power or utility sector. 5+ years of experience managing large or strategic accounts. Demonstrated experience leading complex, solution-based sales cycles. Strong business acumen with the ability to translate customer challenges into commercial opportunities. Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with senior stakeholders. Ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Proficiency with CRM systems and Microsoft Office tools. Willingness to travel approximately 50%. Nice to Have
Experience with grid modernization technologies, digital grid platforms, or utility communications networks. Track record of consistently exceeding sales targets. Strong analytical skills and experience developing and executing strategic account plans.
