Senior Account Manager – Commercial Landscape Maintenance

Role The Senior Account Manager (Sr. AM) is responsible for managing a portfolio of commercial landscape maintenance accounts while ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction, retention, and revenue growth. This role builds strong client relationships, identifies landscape enhancement opportunities, and collaborates closely with operations teams to ensure exceptional service delivery. The Sr. AM serves as a strategic partner to clients and internal teams by proactively addressing property needs, strengthening partnerships, and ensuring service excellence.
Key Responsibilities The Senior Account Manager manages a portfolio of commercial landscape maintenance accounts and serves as the primary point of contact for assigned clients. This role focuses on maintaining strong relationships to ensure long-term customer retention, regularly communicating with clients to address concerns, review property needs, and ensure service expectations are met. The Sr. AM conducts routine property inspections and client meetings to maintain service quality and alignment with contractual obligations. In addition to client management, the Sr. AM identifies and develops landscape enhancement opportunities, prepares proposals, and works with estimating and operations teams to deliver solutions that meet client needs while supporting company revenue goals. This role collaborates closely with the Field Manager to prioritize site issues, coordinate service delivery, and ensure operational teams meet customer expectations. The Senior Account Manager also manages account budgets, monitors property performance, supports contract renewals and pricing adjustments when appropriate, and ensures properties operate within financial targets while maintaining high service standards. This position may provide guidance and mentorship to team members and contributes to continuous improvement in client service and account management processes.
Qualifications Bachelor’s or Associate degree in Horticulture, Landscape Management, Business, or related field, or equivalent experience. Minimum 5+ years of commercial landscape maintenance experience preferred. Experience managing commercial landscape accounts and client relationships. Supervisory or leadership experience preferred.
Language Skills Strong communication skills in English (reading, writing, and speaking) are required. Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
Technical Skills Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite Experience with CRM systems
Requirements Valid driver’s license with a driving record that meets company standards. Regular travel to client properties within the assigned territory is required. Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds. Ability to work outdoors in varying environmental conditions including heat, cold, rain, and other elements. Employment offers are contingent upon the successful completion of a criminal background check and pre-employment drug screening in accordance with applicable regulations.
