Interior Designer
to join a growing team specializing in commercial space design. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing innovative and functional interior environments that align with client goals, brand identity, and operational needs while maintaining project budgets and timelines. This role involves managing design projects from concept through completion, including space planning, preparation of construction drawings, selection of finishes and furnishings, and coordination with architects, contractors, and project stakeholders. Key Responsibilities
Develop creative interior design concepts that meet client functional, aesthetic, and budget requirements Perform space planning and layout design for commercial environments Prepare detailed construction drawings and design documentation Select and specify furniture, fixtures, and equipment (FF&E) including finishes, lighting, and materials Collaborate with architects, contractors, vendors, and project teams throughout the project lifecycle Review and interpret architectural drawings and construction documentation Ensure design plans align with project scope, schedule, and budget Participate in client meetings and present design concepts and solutions Monitor design implementation to ensure quality and accuracy Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field Proven experience in commercial interior design projects Strong space planning and layout design skills Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings and construction documents Experience preparing detailed construction drawings Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, or similar tools Strong project management and organizational skills Excellent communication and collaboration abilities Preferred Qualifications
Experience working on retail, healthcare, or commercial facility design projects Familiarity with FF&E sourcing and specification Experience coordinating with contractors and construction teams during project execution
