Business Development Representative (BDR)

3+ years of experience
in business development or sales within
manufacturing domain . This role is responsible for developing new client relationships with
large manufacturing organizations , initiating conversations with decision-makers, and positioning our recruitment services as a strategic hiring solution. Key Responsibilities
Identify and prospect
mid-to-large manufacturing companies (500+ employees)
across the US and Canada Build relationships with
HR leaders, Directors of Talent, Engineering Managers, Operations leaders, and Plant leadership Conduct discovery calls to understand hiring needs, workforce challenges, and organizational structure Present recruitment solutions aligned with manufacturing hiring cycles and labor market realities Develop and manage a
qualified pipeline of manufacturing clients Collaborate closely with recruiters to ensure strong delivery and client satisfaction Track outreach, pipeline activity, and client engagement in a CRM Represent the company professionally in all communications (email, phone, video, events) Required Experience & Qualifications
3+ years of experience
in Business Development, Sales, or Account Development Book of Business Required : Demonstrated ability to generate business through an existing network of manufacturing industry contacts across the US or Canada. Strong understanding of the
manufacturing landscape
(engineering, production, automation, quality, maintenance, supply chain, etc.) Experience selling into
mid-market or enterprise organizations Comfortable engaging senior stakeholders and decision-makers Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills Highly organized, disciplined, and self-driven Experience working with CRM systems (HubSpot, Salesforce, or similar) Nice to Have (Not Required)
Prior experience selling recruitment or staffing services Experience working with manufacturers in: Automotive / Industrial manufacturing / Medical devices / Electronics / Automation or robotics What We Offer
This is a contract-based (1099 / independent contractor) role with a base compensation of $50,000–$60,000 plus commission The commission compensation model offers uncapped earning potential, allowing high-performing professionals to significantly increase their income Clear growth path within the company High-quality delivery team to support client success Autonomy, trust, and a results-driven culture
