Job responsibilities
Producing 3D models and design drawings for sitework grading and drainage, preparing layouts and conceptual designs, reviewing vendor drawings. Preparing material takeoffs and assist with cost estimates, coordinating work with other disciplines, clients, and contractors. Performing site walk-downs for field verification and address constructability. This position requires travel 25% of the time. Skillsets and expertise required
Requires 10+ years of related experience and a technical degree preferred. Proficient using AutoCAD, extensive 3D modeling experience is strongly preferred. Good Technical writing skills must be able to produce clear, concise drawing notes, able to work effectively both as part of a team and independent. Experience in heavy industrial, power generation, papermill, or petro chemical environment, Knowledge of environmental regulations such as Ga-EPD, ADEM, MDEQ, and Florida DEP. Ability to build effective relationships with plant staff, design engineering staff and/or vendors.
