Job Title: Senior Sitework Designer
Location: Forest Park, Georgia
Type: 2 year Contract
Compensation: $50.00 hourly
Contractor Work Model: Onsite
Senior Sitework Designer Responsibilities
Produce 3D models and design drawings for sitework grading and drainage
Prepare layouts and conceptual designs
Review vendor drawings
Prepare material takeoffs and assist with cost estimates
Coordinate work with other disciplines, clients, and contractors
Perform site walk-downs for field verification and to address constructability
This position requires travel 25% of the time.
Senior Sitework Designer Requirements
10+ years of related experience
A technical degree preferred
Proficient using AutoCAD
Extensive 3D modeling experience is strongly preferred
Good Technical writing skills
Must be able to produce clear, concise drawing notes
Able to work effectively both as part of a team and independently
Experience in heavy industrial, power generation, papermill, or petro chemical environment
Knowledge of environmental regulations such as Ga-EPD, ADEM, MDEQ, and Florida DEP
Ability to build effective relationships with plant staff, design engineering staff and/or vendors.
