Give Me The Vin is looking for a talented Videographer / Video Editor to join our media team and help create engaging automotive content across YouTube and social media platforms. This role is ideal for someone who is equally comfortable behind the camera and in the edit, and who understands how to craft videos that perform well online.
The right candidate will have a strong understanding of visual storytelling, pacing, and social media strategy, and will be able to capture compelling footage and turn it into polished, high-energy content designed for digital audiences.
Responsibilities
- Film high-quality video content at events, shoots, and in studio environments
- Edit engaging videos for YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, and other social platforms
- Understand and apply social media strategy when editing (hooks, pacing, retention, storytelling)
- Work closely with the team to plan and execute video concepts
- Capture B-roll, interviews, and event coverage with a strong creative eye
- Organize and manage media files and project timelines
- Assist in developing ideas for content that resonates with online audiences
- Experience with both videography and video editing
- Strong editing skills in software such as Adobe Premiere Pro (After Effects is a plus)
- Understanding of social media content trends, hooks, and viewer retention strategies
- Ability to shoot high-quality footage with professional cameras and audio equipment
- Strong storytelling instincts and attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment
- Interest or knowledge in automotive content is a plus
- Experience creating YouTube-style content
- Knowledge of lighting, composition, and audio capture
- Ability to quickly turn around engaging edits for social media
