Business Valuation Associate
A growing full-service accounting firm with a strong forensic and litigation division is seeking a Business Valuation Associate to join its Business Valuation team. This role focuses heavily on valuation of privately held businesses, particularly in high-net-worth divorce and complex litigation matters. Key Responsibilities: Lead business valuation engagements from start to finish Develop and apply DCF models and comparable transaction analyses Normalize financial statements and assess industry conditions Value intangible assets Support litigation matters, including economic damages calculations Present findings clearly to leadership and clients Qualifications: CPA firm experience performing business valuations required Strong financial modeling expertise (advanced Excel) Experience valuing private businesses Bachelor's degree in Accounting and/or Finance preferred Preferred Credentials: ASA, ABV, CVA, or CFA (or willing to obtain) Benefits & Compensation: Competitive base salary plus annual bonus 100% employer-paid health insurance 401(k) with match Clear partnership track and long-term growth opportunity PTO, firm covered continuing education, and more
