Kavaliro is seeking a Design Engineer, BMS/Controls to support a client onsite in South Carolina.
Our client is seeking a Design Engineer, BMS/Controls for a long‑term contract opportunity. The Design Engineer, BMS/Controls will conduct the design of Facility/Building Management Systems and data center controls for lighting systems, switchgear, generators, LV distribution, UPS systems, and battery cabinets with Power Modules and Data Centers. Controls configuration designs for data centers, telecommunications and work with specific BMS software and work in factory and site acceptance testing and commissioning.
DUTIES
Create design optimal FMS/BMS design in compliance with specifications
Work with suppliers to design the control schemes, PLCs/relays, to FMS/BMS designs
Bills of material, and modification of standard assemblies
Ethernet protocols including Modbus and TCP/IP protocols and Ethernet interfaces
Quality control integration of FMS/BMS systems
Support on site integration support
REQUIREMENTS
BS Degree in Electrical Engineering with controls experience
Knowledge of FMS/BMS design, instal
Knowledge in AutoDesk/AutoCAD
Experience with Microsoft Office
