About the Opportunity: Our client, a leader in Healthcare, is looking for a skilled
Credit Specialist
to join their team for a 6-month engagement. This project involves managing and resolving customer account delinquency and supporting comprehensive accounts receivable, payable, and data management functions. This is a high-impact role that requires a self‑motivated professional who can hit the ground running and deliver results quickly.
Key Responsibilities & Deliverables:
Facilitating collection activities for past‑due bills by contacting customers via phone, email, and letter.
Performing data input, posting, maintenance, and processing for accounts payable, accounts receivable, customer master data, and employee travel data/credit card administration into financial systems and databases.
Auditing, validating, and reconciling data for accuracy to ensure adherence to established policy, and resolving discrepancies as needed.
Coordinating with internal departments and external parties (customers, vendors, financial institutions) to exchange information, clarify policy, and resolve all stages of account delinquency.
Reviewing transaction information such as invoices and authorizations to ensure completeness before processing, and determining correct procedures for proper system updates.
Required Skills & Experience:
Proven experience in a customer service and data entry focused role, with high accuracy and speed in a fast‑paced environment.
Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively exchange information with a wide variety of people.
Excellent attention to detail, organization, and the ability to multi‑task.
Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and manage your own time effectively to meet project goals.
PC skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel experience is a plus).
Ability to work with a variety of systems and databases; SAP knowledge preferred.
W2 only (No C2C or 1099 contractors)
