Compensation:
Unpaid (Eligible for college credit through the student’s home institution)
Weekly Hours:
15 hours/week (excluding a full-day Orientation on June 10)
Internship Overview ASC Theatre Camp Interns
will work collaboratively to:
Document camp life through photography, video, and social media
Design and produce professional-quality Playbills
Engage and recognize sponsors and donors tied to the Final Performance Festivals
Internship Team:
Content & Social Media Intern
– focused on capturing the day-to-day energy of camp and managing real-time posts and video.
Graphic Design Intern
– responsible for designing print and digital materials, including the official camp Playbills.
Each intern will bring specialized skills to a shared effort. They will:
Work
15 hours per week
Participate in a
full-day orientation
on June 10
Join
weekly cross-functional team meetings
Be supported by ASC staff mentors in Marketing and Development
The internship team will:
Elevate the storytelling and visibility of ASC Theatre Camp
Contribute real-time promotional and archival content
Build lasting materials to support future recruitment and donor stewardship
These roles offer college credit eligibility and are designed as hands‑on, project‑based learning opportunities for students seeking careers in theatre, marketing, graphic design, or nonprofit development.
These interns will function as a
cohesive team
, meeting weekly and coordinating their efforts to amplify the story, visual identity, and donor engagement of the 2025 camp season. While each intern will focus on a specialized area, their success will rely on close collaboration, communication, and mutual support.
Content & Social Media Intern responsibilities Supervisor:
CJ Clark, Communications Manager
Summary:
This intern will serve as the documentarian and digital storyteller for ASC Theatre Camp 2025. They will capture daily photos and video content, manage camp‑related posts on Facebook and Instagram, and produce a short trailer for ASCTC 2026 promotion.
Key Responsibilities:
Photography and video coverage of rehearsals and community life
Create and manage social media content for Facebook and Instagram (3–5 posts/week)
Produce a 1–2 minute promotional trailer
Collaborate with the Marketing and Education Teams to align tone and brand
Coordinate with the Graphic Design Intern and the Institutional Giving Manager for shared visual assets
Skills Needed:
Photography and videography skills
Basic video editing (Adobe Premiere, CapCut, iMovie, etc.)
Experience using Instagram and Facebook for content scheduling and engagement
Strong communication and storytelling instincts
Ability to work both independently and in coordination with a creative team
A curated photo library capturing theatrical and educational events
A finished promotional video for ASCTC 2026
Social media campaign archive (including posts and performance metrics)
