Rate of Pay: $ 75,000 - 85,000 per annum
Job Description What you will be doing:
Reporting to the Director of Sales, responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:
Handle all aspects of Sales for groups of 10 or more rooms peak night
Develop and maintain customer base in all markets
Exceed personal sales goals, monthly, quarterly, annually, through account development and maintenance
Attend Sales meetings, office events, hotel-sponsored functions, and industry functions
Develop lead sources and rapport with key personnel, Global Sales Office sellers, and assigned client base
Coordinate and financially manage sales trips, FAM trips, and conventions within the given territory, including reports or activity pertaining to the specific market
Assist in the planning and strategies of the Group Sales effort
Maintain active membership in industry-related organizations and associations pertaining to the specific market
Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging service
Need to have strong customer service and communication skills, can anticipate and meet the needs of our guests and have an enthusiastic desire to attain the highest levels of quality in all areas of the hotel.
Complete and manage customer proposals and contracts
Data entry into the sales system platform Delphi
Working in a team environment
Other tasks as assigned
Qualifications Your experience and skills include:
Minimum of 2 years experience in hotel sales or meeting management
Must be proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
Knowledge of Opera and Delphi preferred
Able to provide clear and professional telephone communication
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Capable of managing multiple projects and responsibilities with ease
Well organized and detail oriented
Able to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
High school or equivalent education required, Bachelor’s degree preferred
